Nikolaos Papadogiannis

Following his undergraduate studies in History at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Nikolaos Papadogiannis moved to London and received his MA in Contemporary History and Politics (with distinction in the dissertation) from Birkbeck, University of London in 2006. In 2010 he obtained his PhD in History from the University of Cambridge. Before embarking on working as a teaching fellow at the School of History at the University of St Andrews in 2014, Papadogiannis was an Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Humboldt University of Berlin and also offered teaching at the Free University of Berlin. His research interests include travel, consumption, youth cultures, gender, migration, emotions and European identities.
